A Bit of Background

The following backgrounds help summarize the author's views on both the general topic: Federal and more specifically No Vaccine Passports as it relates to that topic.

Brief Summary of Federal

This should be a fairly limited bills area for management the overall structures like highways, military, federal buildings, federal laws, and the like. However it has become the micro manager of all micro managers. They get involved in areas that no federal government should be involved in, and shift more power upward. This has led to each party trying to run over the other party in the eyes of the voters, all the while doing everything possible to maintain their power. They do this by holding onto all of the money, and claiming they know best how it should be spent. But they run debts so badly that no one should be looking to them as an example of anything other than the way to overspend and go further into debt.

Another No Vaccine Passports Act

Published: 2023-11-06

This bill was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

This would prohibit issuance of vaccine passports, vaccine passes, or other standardized documentation for the purpose of certifying the COVID-19 vaccination status of a US Citizen to any third party. Nor shall proof of COVID-19 vaccine statue be deemed a requirement for access to any Federal property or Federal service.

This seems pretty straight forward. Again perhaps stepping on the WHO's goal of tracking such information internationally. Again I abhor this concept. For those thinking it is not a big deal, I say don't forget that things are always on a slippery slope. First they track a piece of your medical information that you don't mind them tracking, mostly because you think it is no big deal. Next they begin tracking information that you are less comfortable with them tracking but with which they can claim a bigger stake in what happens should they not track it. And eventually they just track it all, without regard to what you want or not. And this becomes the basis for where you can go, what you can do, what can be done for you medically, etc. The list goes on and on. No this won't happen overnight, which is how slippery slopes get completely out of control. Climbing back up the slope is extremely difficult, and very painful. Don't let the slide begin.
