Durham Report Summary

This is a review of the Durham Report, including my impressions. I consolidated information between sections in an attempt to not be repetitive. There were new procedures put in place due to the events of Crossfire Hurricane, all in an attempt to avoid issues like this happening in the future. However, since the FBI ignored existing procedures, the investigation was handled by FBI Headquarters, and they had many higher levels of the FBI on board; it seems highly unlikely it would stop this from happening again. This is at least true if any of the upper management at the FBI remains employed by the FBI or if anyone who is influenced by them remains employed there. And if any of them remain employed, I would not put it past others there to begin doing similar investigations of their own. You do not need everyone on board, you merely need to select a few individuals that are willing to go against their morals because they want what they want.

Regardless of how you feel about either candidate, it should send a chill up your spine. The US elections were heavily influenced by our own FBI, more than any other influence they played a major role. They knew information being printed were lies, and failed to do anything about it because they preferred the direction it would lead voters. They opened, and kept open, investigations when they were failing to gather any corroborating evidence, even when the information being provided was provided by someone employed by the opposing campaign. And they hurriedly closed investigations when they had highly trained and experienced agents believing they still needed to do more investigation. And Crossfire Hurricane personnel were advised to stop putting things in writing, and later ordered to not put things in writing. The very thing that analyst do is put things in writing, yet they were ordered not to. And yet there was still mass amounts of information showing the FBI's failures.
